What data we process and why

Publication notice. If you sign up for “Notify me when it’s out”, we store your email and the edition you are interested in, to send you a single email when the book goes on sale.
Contact. If you write to hola@lavidainvisible.com, we use your email and whatever you tell us to reply to you.

We do not build profiles or make automated decisions with your data.

Legal basis

Your consent, given by ticking the box on the form or by writing to us (article 6.1.a of the General Data Protection Regulation). You can withdraw it at any time by writing to hola@lavidainvisible.com.

How long we keep it

Publication-notice emails are deleted once the notice for that edition has been sent, or earlier if you ask. Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and then for any period required by law.

Who else is involved

We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law. These providers are involved in running the website:

Piensa Solutions (Spain), which hosts the website and email.
Adobe (Adobe Fonts), which serves the headline typeface. When the page loads, your browser connects to its servers, which receive your IP address. Adobe Inc. is based in the US and participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

You can request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, object to or restrict its processing, ask for portability and withdraw your consent by writing to hola@lavidainvisible.com. If you believe your data has not been handled properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

Cookies

This website does not use analytics, advertising or social media cookies. It only stores, in your browser’s local storage, the language you choose, so that the site opens in that language next time. This is technical data serving a function you request, so it does not require consent. You can delete it from your browser settings.

This website is not intended for children under 14, who should not provide us with personal data.
